The American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) is committed to advancing neurological surgery to deliver the highest quality of neurosurgical care to the public. Our philanthropic arm, the Neurosurgery Research and Education Foundation (NREF), focuses on development, resident education, and research support. Meanwhile, NeuroPoint Alliance (NPA), our data collection division, enhances research and quality improvement by acquiring, analyzing, and reporting clinical data through registries and related studies.
AANS relies on more than just membership dues to achieve its mission. Like many non-profit organizations, we depend on non-dues revenue, including external support. This document outlines the guidelines for interactions between AANS, NREF, NPA, and our Corporate Supporters.
