Co-Sponsorship Corner The AANS Education and Maintenance of Certification Committee (EMCC) is pleased to consider your request to co-sponsor your continuing medical education (CME) activity. Co-Sponsorship: An accredited provider (AANS) may co-sponsor with another accredited provider, a CME activity designated for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s),TM. The activity must meet all of the accreditation and AMA (PRA credit system) requirements to co-sponsor with AANS. Your organization must be an accredited provider and take full responsibility for the certified activity, which includes but is not limited to planning, implementing and evaluating the activity. Requests for co-sponsorship of your annual meeting must be submitted to the AANS office in writing and requires completion of the co-sponsorsed/endorsed application at least four-nine (4-9) months in advance of the activity date. Once reviewed by the AANS Education and Maintenance of Certification Committee, you will receive a determination letter.
