The AANS and the CNS joined the Ad Hoc Group for Medical Research Funding and more than 370 organizations requesting increased funding for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Fiscal Year 2024. The $50.924 billion request is a nearly 5% increase over current funding levels and would allow continued vital investment in the NIH to improve our nation’s health.
