Neurosurgeon Appointed to CPT Assistant Editorial Board

On Sept. 14, the American Medical Association (AMA) appointed AANS/CNS Coding and Reimbursement Committee member and CNS Current Procedural Terminology (CPT^®) Advisor Henry H. Woo, MD, to CPT Assistant Editorial Board. The CPT Assistant is the AMA’s publication for educating providers, payers and coding staff about the technical aspects of CPT coding. The AMA and specialty societies provide content for the publication to help CPT users code appropriately. The CPT Assistant Editorial Board was established in 2007 to provide clinical expertise for the publication.
