Neurosurgery Asks CMS for Additional Prior Authorization Reforms

On Jan. 5, the AANS and the CNS joined the Regulatory Relief Coalition in commenting on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) 2025 Medicare Advantage proposed rule. The comment letter offers several reforms to prior authorization in the Medicare Advantage program, including improvements to ensure health equity and prior authorization reporting requirements.
