On Jan. 27, the AANS and the CNS joined the Alliance of Specialty Medicine in submitting comments to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), urging the agency to address network adequacy concerns. Responding to the proposed rule titled “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act; HHS Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters for 2023,” the groups urged CMS to take the necessary steps to ensure health plans regulated by the Affordable Care Act meet network adequacy standards.
