Neurosurgery Urges Permanent Telehealth Expansion

On Feb. 22, the AANS and the CNS joined more than 130 organizations in sending a letter to Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) urging Congress to make permanent telehealth flexibilities implemented curing the COVID-19 pandemic before they sunset on Dec. 31.
