On March 5, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Gabriella Miller Kids First Research Act 2.0 (H.R. 3391) by a vote of 384 to 4. Introduced by Rep. Jennifer Wexton (D-Va.), this legislation would expand the available funds to support research on pediatric diseases and disorders at the National Institutes of Health. In October 2023, companion legislation, S. 1624, passed the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions.
