The AANS Neurosurgical Coding & Reimbursement virtual course trains clinical, professional, and administrative staff to understand the impact of quality reporting and deliver the most up-to-date ICD-10 and CPT coding specific to neurosurgical practices.
Through hands-on training and experience, attendees learn to accurately apply and assign CPT codes for common neurosurgical procedures. Focused on Spine, Cranial and Pediatric coding and billing topics and facilitated by neurosurgical experts who will:

This course bundle consists of virtual sessions to address the unique elements of Spine, Cranial, and Pediatric procedures.

This course is applicable for beginners with no coding experience (who have a high-level understanding of Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Pathophysiology) up to seasoned coders wanting to advance their knowledge.

Cancellation Policies:
Cancellation and Refund Policies
Requests for cancellation, substitution or transfer of course registration must be received in writing 2 weeks prior to the start of the first course to receive a full refund less a $50 processing fee. Cancellations, substitutions, or transfers to another course will only be granted 2 weeks prior to the start of the first course, less a $100 processing fee. Refunds will only be made for cancellations, substitutions, or transfers after 2 weeks prior to the start of the first course. Email or fax written cancellation, substitutions, or transfer requests to education@aans.org.
The AANS reserves the right to cancel a course. Registrants will be notified by phone and a formal letter of cancellation will follow in the mail. In the event of course cancellation, registration fees are refundable; however, airline and hotel penalties are the responsibility of the registrant.
